They still are not returning phone calls or emails. Their voice-mail now says there internet was cut off. They are also not returning dealer calls.

No replies by phone or email be Carefree. In the one phone contact I had they said they would only talk to dealer.

Dealer stated they are also not responsive.

Escalated to NHTSB as this is a known safety issue not covered by prior recall. Winnebago also refers to Carefree of Colorado.

Awning self deployed while traveling out of state. These were subject to a recall which was done last year. Emailed company the day it happened 8/20 and as of 9/7 no reply. I called today and they did finally return call but said they could not expedite or communicate with dealer until the dealer fills out their form. Appointment next week. Hopefully it will not take 10 weeks again. Have only used it once and that was prior to recall service.

Ordered a 4 slot Roller bar 15 foot 5 inches, received a 14 foot 10 inches 4 slot Roller bar that was damage on one end, called , emailed , voice mail , faxed, no reply or put on hold forever. Do not do business with this Company

Bad customer service don't stand behind warranty

I bought my sunset rv 8 months ago . My awning on my camper was out in light rain. Then it twisted like a piece of rubber. I put a claim in with keystone they denied it said it was damaged by weather . It was not.... then said to call carefree so they told me it was denied because it is for shade only. I will never buy anything with either company again. Awful customer service what happened to customer always right. I am so upset with this now I have to have it covered by my insurance company and pay a deductible. Buyer's beware don't ever get anything from these companies Sarcastic

Terrible customer service

Placed order online and then followed up a week later by calling the customer service dept. Was on hold for over one hour. Gave up. Called the next day at 8:30 AM and talked to CSR that could not answer my, when will my order be ready to ship, question. CSR said someone will call me back. Called the next day same time got the same response. Called back the next day and got the same response. Told them to cancel my order as they didn't give a *** Was forced to buy from a dealer who had stock but paid more. Our RV was down because of a faulty spring issue that broke the mounting brackets off when slideout was extended.

Rear extension bending and breaking in low wind

We have had to replace the rear extension arm twice with in the last year. Your awning is on our 2018 Jayco Grayhawk purchased in June 2018. Both time the arm bent and broke there was only a light wind with no gusts. All at once the fabric lifted and the arm twisted and broke. This appears to be a common problem and I am looking for a solution or fix so I don't have to worry each time we use it. So far it has cost me $1800.00 in repairs.

Customer NON service. Have been calling the help line off and on for three weeks. Usually busy, but if you get through, you immediately get put on a que line waiting for a rep. I have been 15the in line all the way up to 50th person in line. They also have no way to leave your number and have them call you when they get time.

This awning is very intermittent. Have tried to get it repaired, camping world doesn't call back, Carefree of Colorado puts you on hold and promptly forgets you. The old manually operated awnings were good. This is junk, plain and simple.

Faulty wind sensor transmitter.

The owners manual is a total joke. We had beeping going on from the unit a year after purchasing it. I had to go on Youtube for help. I replaced the batteries and the beeping still goes on. No help from Carefree, as no one answers the phone when I called. Maybe they were closed or something.
